We wish to stop subscription of our 2 existing ZOOM PRO paid licensed accounts and then subscribe for 2 new Microsoft Business Basic (Teams) accounts and this 2 accounts will be used by any of our employees (Only for online meeting).

If any employee need to host meeting longer than 40 min with more than 2 participants, they login with the same MS Teams account & password on their 'own' laptops to schedule or start online meeting. Of course, only 1 employee who is HOST will login, and not all computers login with the same account at the same time. (The rest just join meeting via the link).

Our concern is that MS Teams is highly linked with Microsoft Account /MS365, and this may mixed up, or license sharing restriction, not sure if MS account being log-in in many Windows computers.

We just want to to use the service for Online Meeting only, not MS OFFICE and we want to replace ZOOM PRO just because MS Teams is cheaper than ZOOM Pro paid accounts. Please advise. Thank you.

Have you tried Google Meet? It's another alternative option for you to consider, could meet your usages.

Sorry, our management prefer either ZOOM or MS TEAMS only, not others, eg. Google Meet, Webex)

And my concern is that Microsoft will put restriction if we have more users Windows computers login with the same MS356 account for sharing of MS account licenses to use & host MS Teams meeting. (The correct usage is 1 user 1 license)

Another concern is that, if any user Windows computers already installed with older MS Office Home & Business FPP Retail licenses will be replaced (or upgraded) and get mixed up our existing licenses.

One IT software supplier, is suggesting us to either use our own company domain (email domain name) or Microsoft will give free domain mycompany.onmicrosoft.com to use when u create the account in Microsoft 365 (MS365).

They said... since we just want to use MS Teams and the login ID is to be shared among other employees, they recommend not to add & use our company email domain name to sign up MS Teams (or MS 365 Business Basic Subscription). But if want add also can, won't affect our email as it can added TXT record to our DNS to verify. Whether u using MS365 in future actually no affect. -- i still have worry, as our existing MS OFFICE Home & Biz 2010 FPP Retail edition is way too old version and MS 365 will replace it.

Your company paid for those products, I suggest you just contact them directly or call ZOOM/Microsoft support team to provide a solution for your company.
