During defect liability period, management will in charge to claim defect from developer for common property such as swimming pool, playground right?
My unit is a corner unit with windows and exterior walls of the building. Water is leaking seeping through the walls and into unit and getting a lot of watermarks whenever it rains.
Can sifu advice here, since this problem affect almost all corner units, this type of defect is under common property i.e. exterior wall hence is management's responsibility to claim defect and repair or its owner's responsibility to claim defect from developer?

Need help guys, we notify management that the exterior wall and windows defect is common property defects, involving many units
So management suppose to be the one directly submit defect to developer (under DLP period) right? Since it is their responsibility to fix
Instead of this management only reply to say they will only try help owner push developer to fix what was submitted by owner, i.e. internal wall damage. While the real problem is rain water leaking from outside due to defect of exterior wall and windows
Can sifu advise what should be the next step?

Go to the press, wakil rakyat, mp, hba etc. Seek legel advise regarding the 2 5% retention sum as per the SnP.. This post has been edited by mini orchard: Dec 22 2021, 06:19 AM
