I just bought a YES sim card from shopee for RM1, can I activate this SIM to test 5G speed?

Or I must buy the 5g sim card from their official website to enjoy the 5g connection? sim card has no 5g or non 5g right? It should be the same, just the mobile phone can support 5g or not only as I know.
