Cheras is great, when it's stable lol. Or else, no signal, then slowly from 4g back to 5g.

I'm pretty confirmed yesterday night, I saw my hotlink 4G icon turned to 5G. I quickly do a speed test with nperf, it hit 400mbs plus download but during upload, the icon changed back to 4G. Anyone encounter this?

Mid last year also I had encounter a quick 5G network on my umobile when i was driving in Bandar Tun Razak. Quickly stopped by the roadside, screenshot the status bar, but not managed to do a speed test. Probably I was already outside the 5g area when I parked.

Anyway, now using Yes for 5g, umobile still with its unlimited gx38 plan (the 5g plan is 30gb fup wtf lol)

u35 also got unlimited 5g for weekend, except hotspot quota, only 30gb
edit: they changed to high speed 3GB only for u35 & u40. u40 with unlimited hotspot only at 6mbps in 5G.

Umobile best prepaid is their old GX38 which using as primary.
4g unlimited data & calls at 12Mbps streaming speed.
5g yes at 2nd sim slot for unlimited 5g everything.

Best combo imo at the moment.

Yes, if disable 2nd sim can use 5G but if both sims enabled, neither can have 5G.

Weird. My Poco F2 Pro can use 5g on both sim at the same time. Sim 1 umobile 5g, sim 2 yes 5g, both active.. but the "5g" shows as per which sim i select for data.

I just upgraded from Umobile prepaid GX38 to Umobile Postpaid 38. Their 4g is trash but their 5g is great, surprisingly faster than Yes5g now.

Ok la.. Monthly postpaid rm38, 5g, 60gb hotspot (share with data plan)..
