Nah, I'm not buying into their utter bollocks, their explanation is more to their own benefit rather than to the consumers, and of course they wouldn't want their monopoly position to be challenged either.
You don't kill competition and create monopoly when capitalists aren't favoring the consumers, you should monitor them and penalize them when they are not providing up to par services instead, some people seem to forget the fact on the purpose of MCMC and how powerful MCMC can be when things are done right.
Imagine if the policy for DNB remains the same, things will get out of hand in the long run and they will do as they wish because they're the only network provider for telcos, heck even currently we're already having issues like some 5G phones not being supported under the network.
I honestly think those people who support DNB should wake up already, just because you are desperate to experience 5G doesn't mean you should blindfold and lie to yourself that this kind of monopoly is the way to go.
Also, if DNB is so holy as they claim to be, I dare them to reveal their tender process for everyone to see.
Hmm, the money spent on 5G role out ... should be instead directed at fiberization / wired internet connection in Malaysia.
5G is an over-rated technology....
There is that much thing you could do with a phone...
you still need to use laptop.computers to do work, work from home, watch movies, stream 4K , 8K movies....
