Actually 5G trial for Celcom already in the progress since last 2 weeks. They do the trial to all Celcom staff first who are eligible (With 5G Android smartphone and in 5G coverage area) and now they do the trial to selected Celcom postpaid customer. If all have success, they will launch to public by this month or early next month.

Hope they can announce sooner when to launch the 5G in this month

Celcom 5G is not enabled for all iPhone users even though ios 16.2 has enabled 5G. I just talked to the CS. Same thing happens here, Unifi and Celcom side by side, Unifi has 5G but Celcom no.

I got a total different experience in JB paradigm mall, where there was no signal at all until 5G is here

The signal strength of some malls in KL are suck, a few days back went to United Point Shopping Center, Maxis , Unifi, Yes are suck, just 1 of 5 bars signal
and no 4G/5G signal inside the mall

The developer didn't plan to invite those telco to install indoor antenna? btw, they was taking about the proposed KTM station connected to the mall and now also cannot see the shadow
