On paper they mentioned 30 days.... but me hv no issues activating after 6 months kept untouched...this is for the Kasi Up SIMs...

For FT5G Discovery SIM, most probably 30 days...(or not¿¿¿)

Update:
Just received confirmation on me's 5th SIM using the same myKad...

DNB 5G cannot continue if those big 4 Telco not join because the rest telco have poor indoor or underground coverage

Unless DNB plan to deploy VoNR straight ahead on its 5G network

I don't think 5G will use microwave as its primary connections to external...
because weather like malaysia , when heavy rain then mostly the microwave speed or latency will be slower and higher

I think U Mobile is probably the only one from CDMU that is just half step away from signing with DNB all along, they have been marketing their new plans as "5G ready", and if you noticed the way they reponse to customers asking about 5G on social media, they said they're "working very closely with Digital Nasional Berhad to ensure 5G is available to users, announcements will be made very soon"

Another thing to note is that they already added 5G option into their coverage map page, just that it's still showing "coming soon"

https://www.u.com.my/en/personal/why-u-mobi...rk/coverage-map

But due to lack of transparency and cost concerns about DNB, one of telcos from CDMU probably asked the others from the group to team up and oppose DNB, and that caused U Mobile to temporarily pause in signing with DNB

And with MOF keeping their stand on the deadline during the recent meeting, I think it's safe to assume U Mobile has signed with DNB already, and the official announcement for 5G could be anytime now

Just my worthless theory though.

it is NOT FESIBLE to use microware here AT ALL for 5G

that's why DNB need works with TM and others for fiber backbone to support the real 5G speed
