My sister in law sore arm cannot lift for two days. Turned blue black and now after almost 1 month still feel pain in her arm.

I guess blue black due to blood clotting around injection area. That is why the injection is to muscle, not direct to blood stream like drug laugh.gif

It doesn't sound normal. The shoulder injection site should avoid hitting any blood vessels unless your in law was really unlucky.

Not saying the blue black was caused by injecting into main blood vessel. There are micro blood vessel all over the body too. Quite a number of people has same reaction.

BS lah. Injection depends on skill of the nurse. Nurse who jab my son's arm...totally no pain according to him, arm lift no problem. My arm 2-3 days cannot lift like most of my friends.

Check your heart beat with things like oxygen meter or smart fit band or blood pressure meter ...see how low it has drop. If too low for long period, go to hospital immediately.

Culling!
All this is just a cruel joke! It is just to mentally prepared the masses for Pandemic 2.0 when then actually culling occurred.
All this vaccination won't do much when Pandemic 2.0 happened.

Soon we will entered "Zaman kalabendu" as prophesied.

You don't simply say BS if you know nothing. The effect is not due to injection skill. The effect to due each person body reaction with Pfizer. Not everyone has similar problem. The Pfizer does cause blood clot. Thus one injected by doctor himself. Her niece, nephews and daughter are in medical services.

Not necessary, if in PPV then can choose, but f choose Sinovac need to wait for a while for them to take stock for injection, pfizer can proceed for injection immediately. Clinic not sure.

Problem is that a family member said they wanted something else other than Pfizer for booster because of previous side effect (personally I don't think its related) so now not sure whether they should keep the appointment and only refuse if Pfizer is the only one available.

Yes.

And 1 week after. Really don't feel like doing anything. Arm sore and heavy. Just take a break. Drink more water. Rest well.

SS+P (Wed, 15/12)

After 3 hours, left arm started to sore.
Next morning felt like not enough sleep, then a wee feverish in the afternoon. But still showered like normal.
Now arm sore and fever gone after took a short nap (didn't take Panadol).

Got Pfizer yesterday morn...Arm was pretty sore at night and it disrupted the sleep quite abit. Soreness went away today as the day went by. Body temp was abit warm but don't feel feverish at all......Should be fully well tomorrow.

You only would know whether is there a problem when you stress the heart out. Maybe go for a 10km jog or do something strenuous which would elevate your heart rate to above sustained 100 bpm.

Better not to jog on Saturday morning.
Really need to rest for 2 -3 days after the jab. After 5 days can consider to jog again.

You also say recommend mah...
Everyone's body is not same..

I kena jab last Wednesday. This whole week I can do work out already. First few days arm sore, body felt so heavy, late evening time got mild fever. After 3 days felt much better. I gave myself 2 more days to rest.

If rest too long, very lazy to exercise...😅😅😅

Ideally, a day before - take a rest, no exercise
Taking 1 week rest is good enough.

Of course you don't straight away run 10 km after that.
Start slow, listen to your heart, if can then continue. If weak, yeah rest more. Or just do some stretching, especially your arms.

Anyone jabbed with 3 doses of Pfizer? How's the effect for 3rd dose? For me, 2nd dose was worse than first dose, so I wonder if 3rd dose will be worse than 2nd.

if you follow gov's schedule... basically you just rest about 3 weeks after your 1st jab and your immune system haven't recover yet. if you rest more than 3 months before your 3rd jab, the effect should be about like 1st jab only...

3rd dose is after 6 months, so it should be milder?

Anyway would love to hear from those who experience it. Those older folks in my family do not have side effects at all (excluding sore at injection site) for all 3 doses of Pfizer.

My elderly parents also didn't get any side effects after 3 Pfizer doses.
But my brother in his 30s had chills and aches after 3rd Pfizer dose.

For me, I had 2 Sinovac + 1 Pfizer - no side effects so far after 3 days.
In fact I feel quite good (maybe placebo effect because I been wanting Pfizer a long time)

If you didn't have any side effects after 3 days, it means you won't get any dide effects ady. Side effects usually come in the first night.

weird. i saw during my booster shot, some people were asked to return as not yet 6 months. I saw the staff counted the date based on the card/digital certificate and explain why they can't receive the booster shot

Me icon_rolleyes.gif

I thought my first dose was bad enough (tired, sleepy, arm soreness & just hungry a LOT) but I was wrong.

The booster shot got me feeling:
feverish, chills (like I had to bundle up in layers of blanket), headache, pain and swelling on the injection area,
muscle pain, joint pain, sleepy, tiredness, slight dizziness & brain fog.

In short, I was in a lot of pain laugh.gif

First day: I only feel a bit pain in the injection area, but I also felt warmth radiating from my arm to the back of my neck.
I was sleepy too. But it got worse during the night.

Second day: EVERYTHING HURTS cry.gif

Third day: Felt much better but a bit dizzy & brain fog (like I forgot what I wanna do / what day it was).
Arm soreness was very much still there.

Fourth day: Completely recovered. rclxm9.gif

I just got my booster pfizer shot, previously i had two sinovac shot.

I previously commented regarding this and i still stood my opinion.

Honestly all those statistics and data between all the vaccines are really bullshits. Because no matter how powerful a vaccine is, if you don't handle it well, the quality will be jeopardized and will it efficient? Maybe yes and most likely not as good as when it's handled well by responsible personnel.

I mean we all know Pfizers needs special cold storage, but the place i go to and heard from my other friends who took their booster shots, which i suspect that you all would have noticed as well, they just put the vaccine bottle on table, room temperature! IIRC one bottle, can inject about 6 people, so which means that bottle has been left there for a while unless you are the lucky one that they just take it out from whatever cold storage they put in.

Even then, these vaccines have to go through various logistics, who to say the quality has not been compromised in between?

I supposed at this point, all the vaccines, whichever brands probably give the almost efficacy since the handling is shit. Everything else could be just placebo effect. So this stupid "master race" that a lot of forumers are spewing, are really just bullshits out of their own arses.

You expect them to inject freezing cold vaccine into your body? The vaccine need to be thawed and can be left at room temperature for up to 6 hours.

It’s 4th day of the Pfizer booster jab, and I’m not sure if my migraine has to do with my gastric from yesterday? Or even the gastric is triggered by the booster? I threw up yesterday maybe due to food poisoning or indigestion? I don’t know but today I’m also having a random horrible migraine out of nowhere.

Sinovac - 1st and 2nd shots
All fine. Just 2 or 3 days jarum cucuk pain.

Pfizer - 3rd shot, booster shot
20+ hours later, mild muscle pain around the armpit
4th day, the muscle pain around the armpit is very mild and slowly subsiding, but the left leg has mild muscle pain or numbness. sad.gif
edit 1:
5th day, the muscle pain around the armpit is getting better. The left leg is slightly better, maybe.
6th day, the muscle pain around the armpit is almost gone. I would say 90% OK. The left leg is slightly better, maybe.
edit 2:
7th day, healing slowly and nicely.

According to your reply 😸

p1p2 and booster should be on Feb if 180 day unless they reduce the interval that I don't know,

my only side effects arm sore because just a muscle pain I guess?

According to your reply 😸

p1p2 and  booster should be on Feb if 180 day unless they reduce the interval that I don't know,

my only side effects arm sore because just a muscle pain I guess?

i seldom take MC so i took it cause i have been having 5- 6 hours sleep for the last 3 months anyways. LOL! So might as well sleep while I could.
The migraine is confirmed from food poisoning and gastric. No more santan for me for the next few months at least.

When i took my booster, the doctor did tell me not to do any workout for the next 7 days. today is the 6th day and im getting anxious since im used to working out at least 3 times per week. i think i wanna continue my workout regime today maybe. Need those sweet endorphins!!

Sinovac - 1st and 2nd shots
All fine. Just 2 or 3 days jarum cucuk pain.

Pfizer - 3rd shot, booster shot
20+ hours later, mild muscle pain around the armpit
4th day, the muscle pain around the armpit is very mild and slowly subsiding. But the left leg has mild muscle pain or numbness. sad.gif
5th day, the muscle pain around the armpit is getting better. The left leg is slightly better, maybe.
6th day, the muscle pain around the armpit is almost gone. I would say 90% OK. The left leg is slightly better, maybe.
7th day, healing slowly and nicely.

This will be my last update, hopefully.

My 2c and conclusion. I will pay for Sinovac in the clinic if 4th shot is needed and if gov't didn't offer Sinovac to me, and avoid others. smile.gif

You expect them to inject freezing cold vaccine into your body? The vaccine need to be thawed and can be left at room temperature for up to 6 hours.

Read the last page:
https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/info-...age-summary.pdf
*
If you read carefully Before mixing, the vaccine may be stored in the freezer between -25°C and -15°C (-13°F to 5°F) for up to 2 weeks.

ULT is for shipping and storage purposes in warehouses only to extend shelf life to 6 month for stockpiling purposes doh.gif

After Pfizer shots, and on the 6th day, i resumed back my usual workouts. All my workouts after that have very high HR rate. Like i have done the same exercises for the past 7 months and never before my HR has been this high even when i pushed the intensity or took one week break. So yeah.... Kinda scary, but im not out of breath nor do i have chest pain.

I went for my booster shot during mid noon with an empty stomach. I did not get exceptionally hungry after the event. But now good Lord I am having a hard time to sleep because my left arm is tremendously tender and sore. I cant be moving too much. This is even awful than my experience with a minor surgery on the left arm a few months ago wherein I barely felt the pain on the post surgical site.

First two jabs were AZ.

2 days ago got Pfizer as the booster. No side effect that day just sore arm.
Yesterday at around 4pm felt a bit chilly till night time, maybe a very mild fever, still sore arm.
Today, sore arm in the morning only.

I have done many push ups when the arm was sore since right after push up I got the instant relief

Booster taken on Tuesday (4th Jan). Gap after second dose is ~4.5 months.

Have to say, this dose was the worst for me. First two doses just sore arm and slight, heatiness and headache. With this one, a day after the shot (yesterday) I couldn't function at all.

Arm was so sore I could barely lift it, stiff shoulders, sore back, feverish, chills, headache, sinus pressure. Took a pill of Fabricol RX (basically paracetamol + antihistamine), did some menthol vapor inhalation, applied some good ol' minyak kapak, and slept throughout the day.

Much better a day later. Still slight sinus pressure (especially when I bend down), but bearable. Back still a bit sore, but maybe that's just me getting old. Managed to go to work today.

if you don't feel like it, just don't lah. Even doctor says don't exercise for a week as a pre-caution. And when i resumed my workout after about 5 days, my average HR for all my workouts is like 20% higher. Quite scared!

First Dose: Sinovac
Side Effect:
• None

Second Dose: Sinovac
Side Effect:
• None

Booster Dose: Pfizer
Side Effect:
• Day 1: None but after 3 to 4 hours, body feel heated up (not to the extent of having a fever) and slight joint-pain. Did workout like normal.
• Day 2: Naggy headache at the back, slight joint-pain, feverish from morning until evening. Did workout like normal. When it came to late evening/midnight, headache spread upward from the back and from mild headache, it became pounding (I went to sleep hoping it'll subside the next day).
• Day 3: Pounding headache gone, fever gone. Only some slight joint-pain but overall was OK.

Summary: All the sakit-sakit came on late Day 2.

Side note: No pcm or anything taken. Just rest and drink enough water.

AZ > AZ > Pfizer.

Went to the sejahtera appointment. Never said what kind of booster, arrived and found out they only had Pfizer. Told me can check out other outlets but i cbf waiting and searching so took the jab.

So far soreness at area of jab, lethargic and cant sleep at night. Not that bad, but definitely not like AZ booster which i had no reaction whatsoever.

Pfizer
Whole left hand feels sore for about a week. Accidental bump just awful.
Slight fever and quite severe headache
Tiredness

AZ
Just starting to feel some sore on the jab area only.
No fever or headache but feels a little bit tired, not as severe as Pfizer

Mine P,P then P. Weird not much effect with booster, but 2nd dose also not much effect if remember correctly. Arm sore no fatigue, compared to hubby but he quite a bit older (same P,P and P). He got fatigue and chills at night.

Booster yesterday. Took 2 tablets of Actimol. Once the painkillers receded after 7pm...

Left arm quite sore. Can't lift higher than shoulder. Can't sleep much because had this slight pain on left iliac region.

No fever. Just a cross between sleepy frontal headache/dizzy. Anyone had similar side effects?

Sinovacs for the first 2 in August. I am totally fine back then.
