This CBU price is for 11-seater, which is classified under commercial vehicle category, which enjoys lower tax.

CKD may be for 7/8-seater, which does not get the same low tax.

I personally hope the CKD model gets digital instrument cluster.

So far, the demand for new Kia Carnival KA4 outstrips supply. Waiting list is quite expected considering that the price is below 200K

Accidentally saw this review of Carnival sold in Taiwan
They were offered 4 variants
And the 8-seater with the digital 12inch display look much futuristic
Plus the roof window, the car look much spacious

One thing which I dislike on our variant here is too many seats
And the folded middle seat is used as arm rest for passenger seat which look like a cheap van like Hiace

Hope they can offer 8 seat variant here soon

Premium Side step for KA4

Hi. How much is the side step for the Carnival 2022?

I have another question. It is stated to use Diesel Euro 5 B7 on the fuel outlet but I can only find such fuel in Petronas. Is it ok to use the Diesel Euro 5 (blue colour pump, not stated B7) at Caltex?

PM you on the price directly.
All diesel at Malaysia pumps are now Euro 5. However, there is the B7 (blue pump ) and the B10 (black pump). Kia recommends owners to use only B7 as much as possible and only use B10 during emergency on occasional basis, when B7 is not available.

A lot of fuel stations should have B7 now, including Petron, BHP and Petronas. Just need to do some research on your frequent routes and the location of such stations.

Thank you so much for your input. I was confused initially as I read there is B10 and B20 diesel as well which is better? than B7 but that it is only suitable for certain Conti cars. There is also no B7 / B10 / B20 label on the fuel pumps I used a blue pump at Caltex yesterday. So all is good now

Hi, sorry, haven't log in here for quite some time.

50% SST subsidy is coming to an end based on booking by 31st December 2022. Those who are keen in the Kia Carnival 7 / 8 Seater CKD, time to lock in your order now before the dateline.

The SST subsidy of 50% is close to 6K

Looking forward for a good promotion as one of shortlisted in my mind right now. Any advise or common issue need to give my focus on?

It is being reported in India this Carnival model has bad tyre life (Rear) of about 20-25K km only and their dealers/SCs' couldn't resolve this problem till todate.

Any feedback from here?

very weird cant find review on kia carnival. Any1 drivin and wanna share review? My first concern is soo long, hard to park as nowadays parking lots are so short. some malls road very narrow hard to spin up

Hi. I have owned the Kia Carnival for 1.5 years now. When I bought the Carnival, Bermaz offered 5 years service free. Currently can't tell about the maintenance cost. Also since this is a new car, difficult to comment on availability of spare parts. Maybe other owners who have owned the car longer can comment.

The car comes with Free 5 years service of up to 100,000 km by Dinamikjaya Motors/Bermaz.
