Hi all,
Can we use those yellow acid to clean up tiles that has the below stain?
1. cement
2. paint
3. Rust

yes, tried and it works

NOT for shiny tiles
do not use acid for shiny tiles, it will become matt and become ugly

Be careful when using acid to clean tiles. Even normal household tiles cleaner can 'destroy' the tiles if use wrongly.

For paint, if water base ... use a scrapper and wet cloth. If oil base, use turpentine ....never use Thinner.

For rust, use sandpaper. Never use acid on metal.

Safest method is try with Cif/Jif/tesco equivalent cream cleaner and/or a scraper. Acid seeps into tiles and damages rubber gaskets..
