In the market to buy DaHua CCTV / NVR and Engenius network equipment.

All my local shops quote RM50 - RM100 more expensive from Shoppe sellers. I'm looking at 50+ units, how up the chain can I go ?

Or just buy from Alibaba ? Which is even cheaper than Shoppe even with shipping

tried it, typical reply :

1. "Ours comes with warranty" (meaning just bring back to shop). Although in my experience I've been asked to pay for postage AND it's not even a 1-1 on the spot replacement.

2. "Any issue just call us to site" . And get charged RM150/visit anyway for poking around and maybe bring the equipment back just to say cannot repair.

3. "RMx off, best price already". With all the items it adds up to RM1k+ in discount, but price difference with Shoppee is still RM1k++

Actually if the local vendors provided some value for the extra charge I wouldn't mind as much. But there is no ready stock, I still have to wait anyway and most of the shops I asked have a "take it or leave it" attitude when told I'll install the equipment myself (the lowest quote I received being RM100/camera EXCLUDE cabling which I've already done).

I don't know how much Shoppe sells it, but physical store at KL outskirt and the one at KL city centre, have price difference, for example.
Personally , I visit Jalan Pasar at KL city, like E-mart , to purchase DVR and digital cam, much cheaper than shop I found far away from KL city. There are many CCTV (and electronics) shop at Jalan Pasar, if you are able to travel to there.
