When you had to activate eSIM on the new phone, were you charged by Maxis?

No charge at all.

I think in future telco will implement self generate QR via mobile app instead of hassle going telco Center for replacement

I think for eSim, you don't get the small dot whenever you make a phone call anymore that shows the call quality right?

Yeah, I experience the convenience when porting into Yoodo and opt for the eSim. They send the QR code to my registered mail then I was able to setup immediately. IMO, this should be the way to go instead of the hassle of going to the store, queue and request for it.

I need fact-check.

1. I read online that iPhone 13 can dual-standby on 2 eSIM at once. Is this correct?

2. iPhone 13 can hold more than 2 eSIM profiles. So in theory I can keep profile for Maxis, Digi, Celcom, Yes, Unifi, etc, and be able to use any 2 at a time and the rest "off". Is this correct?

3. Approached Switch shop guy in Gurney Plaza; he denied both statements above, insists can only dual-standby SIM + eSIM. Is he correct?

Just an update.

I now have 3 eSIMs inside.

Maxis, Digi, and XOX.

Since the Maxis number is primary and linked to Watch, it stays put.

The other 2 takes turn as-and-when I fancy which.
