QUOTE(dreamthief @ Jun 19 2022, 11:24 PM) https://www.zdnet.com/article/how-to-transf...roid-to-iphone/ LOLIt has pre-requisites. The article also mention, technically "Technically, it's still in beta right now, with WhatsApp saying it'll take a week or two for it to fully roll out." then i have to wait till then only can use my new iphone? |

one of the requirement for the transfer:
"Finally, you’ll need to use the same phone number on both devices. In order for the encrypted account data to be accessed, you’ll need to use the same account number (your phone number) on both devices." same number here mean both phone must using the sim with same number?? |

QUOTE(HKHIEW88 @ Sep 23 2022, 08:18 AM) Whenever I make call using one line I am not be able to receive the sms from the other line. The network signal of the other line is completely off. So frustrated right? When I call bank for credit card issues which I’m calling from another number, I have to take out my primary sim to another phone to receive tac |

QUOTE(Icehart @ Nov 3 2022, 10:11 AM) Hi guys I have this very annoying situation. I’ve enabled roaming and reach Korea here. Somehow the internet is very slow. Google maps not loading, some websites like LYN very slow. I’ve to switch on Cloudflare Warp then everything loads fast, at the expense of battery life. roaming pin is usually high due to routing back to your home telco. This is not the first time as this happened in Thailand and Bali before. What seems to be the issue? For flexiroam i noticed to pin is super high at certain country. so it is better to get a local sim card for better pin. QUOTE(fai.the.zal @ Dec 19 2022, 02:18 PM) Changed to eSIM last week. Chatted with Celcom's Cust Care personnel (which claimed that they have performed the necessary setting for my line's 5G).. and also told me that i NEED to wait for the confirmation SMS from them for me to be able to have 5G. Ohh.. i had also re-set my network setting. i tried many times thro whastapp channel... all useless, say will report to relevant dept. bla bla bla.All to no avail. Sama je. Still no 5G. Sigh. at last i try 1111 and the person ask me to reset my network setting, and voila got my 5g on xpax directly. |
