For me, I was able to connect it to my Mac and back it up because even though screen was fully white, it still detected touches. The way I did it was to mirror the phone screen using QuickTime, then try to tap the screen to see which part is being tapped.
Another good thing is, the replacement display also meant no more burnt pixels (due to status bar and home bar) and the red tint issue also gone. Make sure to check for those in a dark environment before you confirm the phone is fixed.
last time kena WSOD also able to swipe (can answer call but don't know who call)...Want to backup iTunes the problem asked pass code.....Take wrap plastic and copy location of pin number from other iPhone.
