I have been an android user for 10 years and this is my first time switching to iOS.
I'm definitely satisfied with it. Good screen, good camera and good battery, these 3 things are the main priority that i look at when shopping for a phone and iPhone 13 pro delivers all of them.
Of course after using android for a decade, iOS definitely feels fresh.

I turn off True Tone as well, don't really prefer it.
If i'm not mistaken, iPad Pro uses IPS LCD display and 13 series uses OLED, so i guess that's why u see the difference.

My 13 pro screen started flickering then white screen today, anyone facing this issue? I'm on iOS 16.3.1

i bought it on December 2021, so warranty is pretty much over. i think the display is totally dead, just white screen only but i will google apple service center and pay them a visit.
has anyone here replace the display before and roughly how much? 2 decades of using phone, this is actually my first time having the display died on me.

knowing we only have authorized reseller instead of an official store, chances are slim but still gonna give it a try. if i fail to get a free replacement, i'm most likely gonna pre-order the new samsung lineup. i have been using samsung since s2 days and up until 13 pro, they were all solid, first iphone and it leaves a bad impression already.

plausible but i don't even have a single game install and GPS is only when i'm using navigation. i never disable the charging optimization.

14 months, i bought it on December 2021 and warranty just expired 2 months ago. the battery health is at 97%, only charge once a day before sleep and never charge to 100%, only charge up to 85% to 90% max.

apple just say change display but whether can claim or not, they have to open up my phone to check for water damage first. i have to send it to machines or switch, leave there for 3 days to check then apple will collect from them and have to wait 14 days minimum, since my warranty is over, slim chance for me to claim.
i saw some users saying the issue came back after a few months. without an apple official store here in MY, wanna claim is really troublesome. i'm actually tempted to just go back to samsung, i've been using many samsung phones since s2, none gave me any problems.

for me, i most likely going for s23+, not a fan of the curved screen and ultra is such a big phone lol.

Same here, it is my first ever iPhone. I'm going to replace the display later and most likely continue to use it, doesn't feel right to purchase a new phone only after 14 months.

To me, nothing on iOS is irreplaceable haha. I hardly ever use iMessage, i use that with 1 friend only and FaceTime not even once.
iOS updates nowadays also not as stable as before.
