Why ? Because you can’t take the number ? Just chill la enjoy the current battery then change it when it reaches 80

So far for me still last all day at 89 percent

I just worry once change the battery the waterproofing no longer function
*
Had to charge more frequently nowadays compared when new, even it's just 10% difference.

I don't mind paying for the battery + service. I worry more on the phone's physical imperfection post-battery replacement. Just in case.

I want to upgrade too, but my 13 Pro Max is still functioning perfectly with no issues, so I can't give my wife a solid reason for the upgrade. laugh.gif

Agree. Spouse factor need to include into consideration. I'm on 13P. Wife on 14P. If I'm getting 16P then the wife would ask me to get one for her too laugh.gif

Investing in quality charging accessories for your phone is essential:

Power Banks: Choose reliable brands such as Xiaomi, UGreen, Aukey, or Baseus. Ensure you purchase from their official stores to guarantee authenticity.
Cables: Opt for MFI-certified cables from reputable brands like UGreen and Vention.
Chargers: Purchase chargers from Apple or trusted brands like UGreen or Aukey.

If you can afford an iPhone, investing in high-quality accessories is a wise decision.

Be cautious of products that seem too good to be true. For instance, Yoobao offers a 10,000mAh power bank for RM19.90, raising concerns about its quality and authenticity. Even Xiaomi doesn't sell at such low prices.

Just to share my recent repair experience at Apple TRX store.....

My IP13 Pro Max got the so called “green screen of death” in the morning. I quickly reached out to Apple support to schedule a repair session. I chose the convenient time slot at Apple TRX store. I received email instructions on steps to take before dropping by the store. However some steps were not able to follow because of a catch-22 situation. It requires confirmation from my phone (which is already inaccessible). I left the step unfinished and went to TRX at the appointed time. I was lucky that I had a MacBook to keep in touch with Apple’s communication.

The Apple staff were super efficient and friendly. After running some tests on my phone, the staff formatted my phone and says to come back and collect in about 2 hours time.

At the scheduled time of collection, I was pleasantly surprised that Apple did the repairs (changing the display) for free. It actually cost RM1499.

After trying out my repaired phone, I felt that response time from the phone was very fast and responsive. I am pretty much satisfied with the job well done!

Thumbs up to Apple TRX staff for the fast repairs and kind gesture of not charging me with the repair bill. Much appreciated!

So lucky. RM1.5k is a lot of money.

Did you take the opportunity to change the battery as well? Since they already dismantle the phone..

13pro. Can’t stand charging 2 times a day so made an appointment with Apple Store Exchange and replaced the battery. 2.5 hours wait. RM409. Old battery was at 81% capacity.

anybody know how much replacement for battery at apple store TRX? and how to make appointment? thanks!

RM409 all-in for 13Pro. This was last Dec. Took about 2.5 hours.

Go to this page to make an appointment: https://support.apple.com/en-my/iphone/repa...ery-replacement
Make sure you come early.

My original batt capacity was 81% at that time and was thinking to change to 16Pro. After change to new batt, the phone feels snappy again and lasts the whole day. May give it maybe a year or abit more, before upgrading.

alright thanks bro i think will proceed to do it, maybe change ip18 like that.

Did they ask u to backup? if not prolly i drop my phone and go and have lunch or something
*
OK few more details if I remember correctly.

a) They will ask you to do an icloud backup prior but in case something go wrong during the batt replacement process and if data still gets wiped out, they won't be responsible. Need to sign a consent form. Very small cases the said. Mine went okay. No issue.
b) If water trace is found inside the phone, where it shouldn't be, the technician will not proceed with battery replacement. Need to sign consent form.
c) If the phone was opened prior by unauthorized personnel, they won't proceed with repair as well.

I did bring my backup phone on that day, just in case.

Hi everyone, quick question.

Is the RM409 price for the iPhone 13 Pro Max battery replacement at the Apple Store in TRX the final amount, or are there any additional charges (e.g. labor or diagnostic fees)?
I noticed that other retailers list slightly higher prices:

Machines: RM429
Switch: RM435
iTWorld: RM428

Just trying to confirm before heading over. Appreciate any insights—thanks!

Using my IP13PM with the iOS 26 so far is very disappointing. Feel like the UI's smoothness is just like using old Android phones.

I can still see the icons loading slowly when i unlock my phone. I know the icons can be customise into clear or dark mode following the sunset or sun rise.. but i set default, still my icons loading once in a while..

Safari is shit now..sometimes can't load a page.. and network intermittent dc..

Anyone encountered this too?

IP13P here. Used 26, 26.0.1 and 26.1 (installed this morning). No such issues so far.
