Guys, is it true 13p/pm will be discontinued once 14p/pm released? Or this is just sales tactic by merchant?

EDIT: 13p/pm having RM300 discount store wide and merchant told me most likely no more restock, they are doing 'clearance' before 14 arrived.
*
True.

This year we have 13pro, 13, SE, 12 and 11.

Next year I think will have 14pro, 14, SE, 13 and 12.

It's good la... life changing, a bit over the top though. But if you never own an earphone around this price range, can understand.
So far i been charging iPhone via MagSafe. Looks like doesn't damage the phone battery. I was careful, make sure it's doesn't heat up.

Ordered Anker Magsafe 633, it comes with Magsafe and wired charging. The worst case, Magsafe isn't safe, go back to wired charging.  whistling.gif

Anyone has other experiences with Magsafe charging?
*
I have the Apple Magsafe charger at home. In the car, I use air vent holder/charger from ESR, not Magsafe certified. But mostly I will charge with cable at home.

Bye bye to this thread.

Already upgraded and given my 13Pro to daughter. Later I make one more post with some of the crazy cases that she bought. There's a furry one. LOL.

Anyone can share which magsafe or 15w compatible wireless powerbank u guys using? In market so many misleading ads saying magsafe but only 7.5w for iphone or never advertised properly.
*
Look for powerbanks with Qi2. That will be 15w for iPhones that support Qi2. Belkin & Anker for sure will have them.

QUOTE(lattemild @ Dec 3 2024, 09:16 PM)
Just to share my recent repair experience at Apple TRX store.....

My IP13 Pro Max got the so called “green screen of death” in the morning. I quickly reached out to Apple support to schedule a repair session. I chose the convenient time slot at Apple TRX store. I received email instructions on steps to take before dropping by the store. However some steps were not able to follow because of a catch-22 situation. It requires confirmation from my phone (which is already inaccessible). I left the step unfinished and went to TRX at the appointed time. I was lucky that I had a MacBook to keep in touch with Apple’s communication.

The Apple staff were super efficient and friendly. After running some tests on my phone, the staff formatted my phone and says to come back and collect in about 2 hours time.

At the scheduled time of collection, I was pleasantly surprised that Apple did the repairs (changing the display) for free. It actually cost RM1499.

After trying out my repaired phone, I felt that response time from the phone was very fast and responsive. I am pretty much satisfied with the job well done!

Thumbs up to Apple TRX staff for the fast repairs and kind gesture of not charging me with the repair bill. Much appreciated!

That’s awesome. Did they elaborate on what caused the GSOD?

Refer here for Switch which should give you an idea. 13pro batt should be RM795.

No wonder, unauthorised love to jack up the price for original battery

QUOTE(dreamthief @ Dec 24 2024, 10:49 AM)
Bordering into scam then. People fall for it thinking original battery is much more expensive? Geesh….
*
Ya, local authorized service provider always like this. If sent to 3rd party sure kena UM price. Decline to repair, kena diagnostics fee. 😅 OP needs to send to TRX to see if they are also like that.

Or just get 3rd party batt and replace oneself. I recently replaced a bulging 15PM battery with a RM95 battery from Lazada. Works pretty well even though it's unrecognized as ori part by IOS.

Ya, screen also replaced. Long story this iPhone.
