I have paid off my house loan. Now in process engage with land office through lawyer.

Where do you guys keep title deed? Deposit box , safe?

What happend if you lost it?

Keep it inside the Safe Deposit Box if you have one at home or bank and make a copy for the HL file.

Otherwise, place inside a proper envelope together with the HL file. Dont keep separately as after few years, you may forget where you place it.

Losing the title can sometime lead to other problems. Finder may use it as a 'collateral' for a loan with illegal money lender, etc
