white shades all over text.

Is the Tv board damaged?

Noticeable only when brightness and contrast are lowered.
Furthermore the white areas still remains quite bright even after brightness and contrast are very low, resulting in unpleasant glaring.

I believe the backlit panel is damaged. You can send it to computer repair shop to get it replace but price won't be worth it. If you have been using it for over 3 years, get a new one.

It is a new bought TV. I already sent back to the seller but he showed me nothing wrong with the TV.

Replacement unit not yet received.
So can't say for sure what is the real problem.
The seller tested the Tv bought earlier and showed nothing wrong. He suggested it must be my PC's fault.
But my PC connecting to my old monitor and other LCD Tv also showed nothing wrong.
This is what puzzling me.
