always put darker colours for vinyl flooring. This gives a more 'atas' look like in 5 star hotels. Dont make the same mistake that people made by putting light colours...cos that makes the place look so 'biasa' and nothing more. My neighbour saw mine...and she chose to put lighter colours...and at the end she regretted like mad. That's the typical Chinese 'taste' lo....must always choose lighter colours.

Contrast is the way to go. If your walls are white... takkan you put a light brown vinyl flooring? Mana ada contrast?? GO for Dark brown la baru nampak the contrast.

if your walls are deep colours such as dark brown, Purple, orange etc...then by all means put light colour vinyl flooring to make the contrast look nicer.
