Price has dropped considerably when you compare it will current EVs available in Malaysia. Like, BMW i3 and Mini Cooper EV. EV is still very infant stage in Malaysia and currently it is only for the elites. With Kona, more middleclass citizens will be able to affort. And hopefully more affordable EVs to come.
