Some talking points about last night’s match:

- Saul was actually decent tonight.. his passes are now quicker and sharper, the only thing he need to improve now is his physical attribute, as when opponents attack him with the ball, he tend to fall down easily..

- Kepa, clean sheet yo! And a couple of good saves as well.. he put up a good performance, long may he continue to do so

- sarr/rudi combination is good, but sometimes they tend to pass to each other more than they should.. but i like that sarr tends to bring the ball forward to connect more with the mid/winger.. we need that ball-playing defender (sometimes rudi does that too) a little bit more game time and sarr should be on par with christensen imo

- jorgi was pure class.. and so does kovacic

- ruben looked abit off

- ziyech was good in offense.. looking at the team sheet, he played as a wingback last night.. but defending-wise, he might need more cover at his position as sometimes he got outrun by opponents

- lukaku.. he did get some service/ball to him, but not as frequent as he should.. and usually when the ball got to him, he’d already be surrounded by opponents.. we need to pass to him quicker (i.e pass to him when he’s clear of space)

All in all.. it was a good performance as we dominated the match.. i really like the one-two quick passes, the fluidity/flow is good

Onto the next match this sunday

Patience.. marina is working her magic, usually towards the end of the window only will know the outcome

Exactly, last night is also the first time Saul played in his preferred position alongside jorgi imo.. can see vast difference when he plays there
