jumping from celcom to digi is like jumping from mulut beruang biru into mulut jin kuning

habis tu mereka bengap izinkan celcom dan digi bergabung.
instead of us having 2 different telcos and ISPs that competes and provide alternative paths, they merged them into SPOF.

imagine when Digital Nasional as the sole 5G operator have spectacular fault in their network later.

Remember what happened when TM had a fire in their Seberang Jaya facility sometime last year? (or was it this year?)

(some may argue "deswai we have individual telco still running 2Gand 4G as failover", but that's not the point.)

i don't disagree that Digi on its own is great! (disclaimer: opinion of someone who loves 2× Postpaid Infinite 150 unlimited internet access 🤭 )

but recent digi migration exercise (which i believe is to bring both sides to same system) is portent of the post-merger future in which stingy celcom is taking over the lead role.

celcom until today refuse to support its postpaid users wanting to switch to prepaid in-house. that shows how stuck in the past and inflexible celcom is to the needs of its users.
