Why is Celcom so useless, nearing years end and still haven't enable VoLTE for Prepaid/ MVNO customers. Checking the APN settings reveals that the IMS profile is already there. Everything is always done on the last minute

i am celcom postpaid using VOLTE

Erm.... I'm talking about VoLTE for prepaid, then useless Celcom did mention in their F.A.Q's that "ALL" Postpaid plans will support VoLTE, but those on legacy plans a.k.a Basic 38 plan are fighting and complaining to MCMC but still don't have VoLTE activated.

instead of us having 2 different telcos and ISPs that competes and provide alternative paths, they merged them into SPOF.

imagine when Digital Nasional as the sole 5G operator have spectacular fault in their network later.

Remember what happened when TM had a fire in their Seberang Jaya facility sometime last year? (or was it this year?)

(some may argue "deswai we have individual telco still running 2Gand 4G as failover", but that's not the point.)

Let me share with you my experience. I was using Celcom, then I ported out to Maxis. I regretted.

All telco in Malaysia are shit la. Port out also no use. Damn

My celcom VoLTE but my celcom mvno no VoLTE.

Blame skmm. Gomen not emphasizing wired internet. Now everyone has to ride on wireless. This cripples everything.

i don't disagree that Digi on its own is great! (disclaimer: opinion of someone who loves 2× Postpaid Infinite 150 unlimited internet access 🤭 )

but recent digi migration exercise (which i believe is to bring both sides to same system) is portent of the post-merger future in which stingy celcom is taking over the lead role.

celcom until today refuse to support its postpaid users wanting to switch to prepaid in-house. that shows how stuck in the past and inflexible celcom is to the needs of its users.

VOLTE works great when you have great coverage, upon reaching home VOLTE is shit as no data = no connection to receiving n outgoing calls

once i pop both my sim in, it indicates both my sim have VOLTE and auto enabled(after OS update cannot enable or disable already)
APN also nothing

but when i make call, it indicates "high quality call"

I'm on XPAX prepaid, already VoLTE enabled.

I downgrade from postpaid to prepaid also got VOLTE wor.

Maxis users complain about Maxis and want to port to Celcom. Celcom want to port to Maxis.

I using Celcom. I got VoLTE.
But then Celcom coverage in my place is getting worst, from 3 bars to now 1 bars if lucky. VoLTE useless like that.
