you can play WoW without Burning Crusade.
but you need Burning Crusade if you want to play Blood elves/Draenai.
also, you cannot enter certain area if you don't have Burning Crusade.

Put this way, it's like a main game with expansion pack. The expansion pack can't run without the main game.

Also, check out the World of Warcraft (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com) website. If you intend to do some regular playing, reading about it is still the best way because it's tiring to answer questions in-game. Do a bit of homework and any questions, just ask.

actually the info u need is at the WoW webpage.

QUOTE
Is there a monthly fee to play the game?
Yes. After the end of the free month included with the game, you need a subscription in order to continue playing the game. There are three subscription options: a month-to-month package at $14.99 per month, a three-month plan at $13.99 per month, and a six-month plan at $12.99 per month. The subscription fees for the three-month plan and the six-month plan must be paid in full.

The website has tons of information but it's not easy to navigate through it since there's so much of it. Plus, it takes awhile to look through everything, especially the FAQ pages. And a lot of things to remember. Besides, if you couldn't find it there, you would have found it further down in the Billing Section. A bit more digging but the information is there.

Possibly also to take it easy when reading posts. It could just be factual but without the intonations from voices, it can sound unintentionally rude. Anyway, prepare for a lifelong journey of having to read up on a lot of things. But if you're prepared to make a lot of noise even if you did feel the insults are justified, you're going to be railroaded in in-game WoW the moment you're rude or flaming back. The WoW LYN posters are tame compared to the other WoW players.

If it's hard to find simple information, it will be harder when you have to push your class hard when raiding or PvPing.

And besides, one day, when you've hang out long enough, you'll get tired of noob questions as well. biggrin.gif

You CANNOT play WoW with just Burning Crusade (BC). You still have to buy the original WoW.

You CAN play WoW with just the WoW installed but then you can only reach until lv60 (max is 70 at the moment) and you cannot play Draenei or Blood Elf races and you cannot go to the outlands.

I forgot how much did BC cost but it's something around RM100-300 region. You have a few options for payment:
1. Buy game card, price is around RM100 for 2 months
2. Use credit card and you can choose 3 types of packages.
a) USD14.99 for 1 month
b) USD13.99 per month for 3 months (have to pay for 3 months at the begining)
c) USD12.99 per month for 6 months (have to pay for 6 months at the begining)

No refund for any of the payment options.

You can try a 10-day free trial but you'll need a credit card for that. Also some people believe that if you use the 10-day free trial in Malaysia, your account might get banned but this is just speculation at the moment. Up to you if you want to take the risk or not. You can upgrade your account to a normal one and continue your character after the 10 day trial expires if you wish to.

Play Horde not Appliance (or they like to call themselves Alliance)!

I suggest you try other game.

With your attitude, you not gonna getting many good help in the game.

So save yourself (and ours) the frustration, and try other game which required less social-skill in online game.

If you ever decided to start this game, please roll on the US realms.

hey f***shit defconkiller,

if you already did your homework, I heavily doubt you did. WoW is the biggest MMORPG there is and the entire internet doesn't tell you how much WoW cost per month? I just googled "wow price per month" and I got the answer.

Let alone you wanna ask for the price of the game.

GTFO WoW please. You suck.
