I have one question. If let say I use jomtapau voucher from foodpanda which gives me 30% off for my food pickup, will food vendor profit less? I have this question since I just bought my dinner at RM11++. Seems super cheap almost non profitable to them already. I like this shop so I don't want it to close shop.

2. Squid fried rice
3. Omelette

They take 35% from vendor right? U -30% the foodpanda still got untung 5%

Dunno. But looking at the raw ingredient inside the dishes, it is crazy how the price is RM11

Everybody already know food panda untung a lot

Its already a known fact a major portion of the fees taken by panda/grab are used to "balance" out their ecosystem, i.e. low drivers, throw money to push. Kesian seller, throw voucher to push.

The nett fees taken range closer to 3-10% after excluding funds reinvested into their ecosystem. Unker Grab has always been nothing but equal, or cheaper than dining in even with delivery fees included. Play the algorithm right, u can benefit big time. Hungry and dun want wait - pay yahudi price lur.

I always thought the same as TS. So no choice, I always go tapau myself

Shop selling price - RM 8.00
Shop selling via FP - RM 12.00
JOMTAPAU RM 12 - 30% = RM 8.40, shop earn another profit RM 0.40.

Sumpah tak kesah as long I untung.

We as buyer already paying for delivery fees, lagi FP charge from seller side end up seller up their price to cover

i frequently receive post it sticker on FP meal package ask to purchase in whatsapp or website, maybe due to fp cut alot for promo or hidden cost that rage vendor few weeks ago

Let say u use pandaibox, after discounting rm4 to about rm10 to customer, fp takes 50% from vendor.

The vendor will not lose anything bro since those vouchers are from Food Panda. If I am not wrong the vendor still gets what he charge usually and Food Panda will pay the difference after deducting their cut

Take jomtapau (only for pickup) for example, not all restaurant applicable for this voucher. Means the restaurant probably need to apply for this program. What I want to know is whether there is additional cut to the restaurant due to this on top of the standard commission.
