RAM upgrade (Quanta NL5A)

Hello guys. Currently I'm using Illegear Laguna with Micron 8GB 2400 MHz.
Planning to upgrade to 16GB. Should I add 8GB ram and run as dual channel? (might have BSOD issue since manufacture line is different) Or should I just swap with 16GB RAM? I noticed 16GB RAM in the market comes in 2666 MHz instead of 2400 MHz. Are those compatible with my motherboard (Quanta NL5A) ? Thanks in advance. |
