So I've been dealing with bed bugs for a while now, I know it is and can confirm they are bed bugs because I squished one or two of them.

I know the common joke/reply is to throw my mattress away but it's a bit TOO expensive and new to throw away.

I've come across Rentokil but I don't see any well written reviews on their service. They are charging RM900 for 3 sessions much like some of the services I came across. I'm planning to go with Anticimex as the person I talked to over the phone was the least lanci and seemed to pitched the service the best.

Would like to know from people who've experienced beg bugs and called for professional help.

More info: I live in a double story house and only the master bedroom and living room seem to have bed bugs so it's better I just call a professional to hopefully sapu them all one shot whole house

Ya in my experience rentokil kind of langci, maybe because they have many customers, so they dont really appreciate.

I appreciate the early replies but I've done some DIY steaming / spraying / jemur / insane vacuuming but I still feel like it's not enough. I'm already willing to fork out about RM1000 for a professional help

Have you heard of bed bug poop? See it yourself so you don't have a second thought about throwing it away

I have properly inspected all infected area including my bed, it definitely isn't close to how the picture is. I'm trying to prevent it from being like that of course

Its not a joke. If its very chronic infestion, no normal pest control can clean them.

I know because i dealth with them before. In the end, i gave up and moved out from house.

Last time got this problem. Just use hot iron and iron the shit out of the bed. Works for me.

Damn bed bugs. First time I had to deal with this it drove me suicidal.

Anyways, since it was a company apartment and we had Rentokil as our pest control for the office, we contracted them to carry out the bed bug treatment as well. Based on experience, while I believe it did mitigate the issue, it did not do a 100% job as bed bugs are notoriously hard to kill. Best treatment would be to fumigate the house and leave it unoccupied for months is what I read. I eventually gave up and moved to a different unit after that.

If its very serious infestation, no company can do it just like that. Last time, even some hotels closed down for months because of bed bug issue.

And contradictory to its name, beg bug just dont stay around bed area je. In my case, bed bug was everywhere. Even in socket holes.

rentokill is pretty reputable pest control.

for bed bug they have to seal the room and bomb it with fumigation.

get ready to stay elsewhere for a while
