Best bang for buck in mid range is still Longines or Tissot. Ball used to be good but have fallen off the wagon in recent years with their sus online distribution business model.

Tissot PRX, Longines Legends Diver and Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical are great mid tier options that don’t cost as much as it looks.

Oris is okay but cannot beat Longines powermatic 80 models. I like the Oris diver 65 and feel that it is quite a versatile watch.

Longines have similar models in their LLD but renamed it caliber L888 with 72 hours power reserve.
