Dr. Chan Joe Mee and Dr. Farah Leong Rahman.

Just wondering anyone got any reviews on either doctor for natural birth and c-sec?

Visits him once a month. So far I can tell he doesn’t believe in Chinese taboo on food. Good listener and calm. Accurate in telling my babies gender using scan which was later proven with NICC test. Doesn’t have to wait too long in queue. Experience is similar to visiting GP doctors where you tell them your discomfort and the doc issue medication.

May I know how much does the NICC cost? I was thinking to do that but I think the price is too pricey. Is it strongly recommended to do this test? Thanks.

I’m not a doctor so I think it’s better that you discuss with your OG doctor if NICC is recommended for you. For me, as both me and my spouse is categorised as risk due to >35 so we decided to check. Just blood test and good thing is that now I am confident that the baby is fine. Was told it’s 99.9% accurate. Cost about 1.3-1.5k and took2 weeks for the result

Oic. Thanks. I asked some places charged 2.5k and above. May I know you do this under which gynae? Cuz your price you mentioned seems more affordable. Yeah same here, I am 35 this year and my husband is older. Anyway this is my 3rd child. My first and second I didn't do as that time I was younger and NICC was not very popular yet.

My kids was delivered at KelanaJaya Medical Center (KMC renamed to KMI). This was some time back, during my survey then, felt more comfortable with KMC and waiting time was much lesser with friendly doc.

After much thoughts and pricing consideration decided to go with DR FATIMA NAJLA KM MUHD JAFFAR at KMC

Getting a doc who listens and doesnt rush was important to me.

Hi, I'm curious about Dr Farah Leong Rahman as well.

I've been visiting her colleague, Dr Ashley - she is patient and informative, always very encouraging and sympathetic to my case. However, the waiting time is really a turn off. You can easily expect to wait from 1.5hrs to 3hrs, half a day gone just waiting to see her. Solely because of the insanely long hours, we are thinking of switching to Dr Farah now whom the nurses told me has shorter waiting time.
