i am staying at 6 floor and when standing at balcony can see the swimming pool at level 1. i just move in here for about 1 year and i started to see mold is building up, like some black spots on walls and cabinet doors. i wonder if it is caused by the humidity? how can i solve it?

it's humidity. Go get a cheap humidity meter from daiso or diy shop to measure your premise humidity.

It should show as white or light grey as molds, black oredi quite bad, probably some form of fungus oredi.

Suggest to clean with vineger or clorox then go repaint with gloss/oil based paint. For indoor best use Nippon's anti viral / anti bac paint.

I had this issue b4 on some parts of wall and wood cabinet, after painting with the below paint for my wall and gloss paint for my cabinet, issue is no longer there.

It's gonna get more worst in next 10 years. Suggest dont save and spend a decent on quality paint as not often we tend to paint the place.

From the wetness of taking showers. Ventilate the place, open the windows let it air out, install exhaust fan. Tupperwared moisture grow mold, algae, etc very fast due to MY being a humid place.
