Buyer beware, this laptop is advertised as "environmental friendly" , however it does not offer replaceable parts to keep your device running long term(ie RAM is soldered)

I think Acer didn't spend a lot of time to redesign the internals. Their other laptops in the Aspire range with integrated GPU are also having partially soldered memory stick. It's probably the same or similar motherboard. If they want to make a statement of caring for environment, then they definitely should have spent some time to come up with a new motherboard design for Vero. From CNET video reviews, I could see there is still so much space left inside the chassis to fit another RAM slot. Laptop should also support USB-C charging so they can exclude the barrel charger brick from the box altogether.

Even if the intentions are half-arsed, I like to see more companies feeling the guilt and taking a stand like this.

They claimed the recycled paper effect on the chassis is not painted, but this effect made it look funky and cool as well.

I'm equally impressed with Samsonite Magnum Eco luggage, and the box used by Sony to package their WF-1000XM4.
