Can someone from the Moderating team verify if it's legitimate? This part seems a bit of an oddball to me "http://lowy.at/chgEmail"

I tried to update with new email address, it prompts "Not allowed, use other email"

It's a clickable link but I didn't click it. Instead of "lowyat", it's "lowy.at"

Can click and can also go to https://lowy.at/
It's using an expired wildcard ssl from lowyat.net (Thu, 25 Jun 2020 23:59:59 GMT)

Opened it and the closest message that i find to your sentence is as below:

"Proceeding with this action will log you out. It is strongly recommended that you reset your password before changing your email address if you are unable to remember your password."

Did u mixed up log out and locked out?

u could actually go to your control panel to change the email manually if u scare to click on the link, rite?

wanted to ask this as well. Donn't have any spare hp number to create new email address just for this. Can it be ignored if email address is unchanged?

If your email is current you don't have to change it. This is only for those who are still using old email addresses which they no longer have access to.

There are a surprising amount of active accounts on defunct email domains like jaring.my, streamyx.com and excite.com.

Ohhh...That clears the air. Alright, since I'm using the current email, I'll just leave it be.

why still get this announcement even after update email?
Can revert back to old email which is still actively use?
