The kopi ping = RM 2.50/ cup . So far this kopitiam the best I tried around this area.

The half boiled egg= RM 2.40/ 2 eggs.

The last hawker stall within the kopitiam, selling simple fried bihun with chicken chop. The bihun tasted good , portion was very generous ,the sambal was very good. The chicken chop was average.

Bihun , hard boiled egg with sambal = RM 4/ plate

If top up with chicken chop = RM 8/ plate.

Warning , the bihun portion easily 400~500g per plate & can feed 2 adults full with possibility of left over.

Ah Ma Laksa , this location was where the local go to dine in. A bit difficult to locate because there was no proper signage & the stall operates from the fishing village house. When we walked in, the owner was a little surprised as they hardly had external customers.

Ordered a curry noodle served with char siew topping, bean curbs , soft shell lala filling, boiled egg & potatoes . Price at RM 6.00/ bowl.
+
1 plate of chilli fried soft shell lala price at RM15.00 / plate.

The above 2 dishes created lasting impression. The other food that the local ordered were fried soft shell lala filling with egg, lala noodle & pan mee. Unfortunately there was no menu available. Will be back again for their other menu in future.

If you ever come to Pasir Penambang morning market on Sunday only , take note for this stall selling the Chinese Doughnut “ Yau Char Kwai”. Each piece selling at RM 1/ each . The queue will be long & the locals were buying like 30~40 pieces in a go. I tried the Yau Char Kwai, sesame palm & the glutinous rice . All tasted nice.

Above average I’ll say all the foods. The available seating area quite limited , expect some queuing during weekend/holiday season. A lot of cyclists during weekend will stop by for the breakfast.

Went for breakfast at Hai Ka Lang BKT for the steam grouper fish head - their signature dish.

The steam grouper was good & fresh. Only the fresh fish head can be with light & mild flavouring. The skin & fish meat was juicy , succulent & tender with very mild sweetness. Cost around RM 60/kg , the fish head itself costed RM 75.00 nett during the visit. I think it is worth the value.

Side order a BKT for a pax for the soup to put with the rice.

Total damage was RM 94.30 for 3 pax. Average around RM 31.40/ pax
