If you are worried about any developers reputation, buy subsale when vp. You cant have the best of everything .... make profit or loss, if any, choose your favourite units, HOC etc and dont take risk.

I want to buy property to live in, not to flip. More concerned about having to do major repairs after DLP

Making 'profit' in property is not only about flipping .... is about inflation. What use buying a 300k now and sell 300k 10 years later. Then is better to rent and every few years, you rent a brand new property.

Even the best developer cannot guarantee that their project is without defects....be it minor or major.

What looks good in drawing may not necessary during construction.

Yea, but I think every projects also will have defects. Just hopefully no serious defects. Hoping developer will not just leave it unattended.

I am looking at one of their projects too, Myra Saujana. Was wondering too if developer be responsible for defects.

Developer are liable and bonded to repair to perfection otherwise you can write to bank lawyer to withheld the remaining disbursement, if ultimately developer fail to make good then you can engage your own contractor for the task and claim. Important to ensure proper documentation including acknowledgement from developer throughout this process
