kenot flip through books, they wrap all of em. so all this fancy design is just that, nice to look at.

nah. i believe its because average malaysian dont have the extra cash to spend on books. malaysian doesnt read is a myth.

I used to love the large Borders stores. Now only Kino is left for me.
Big Bad Wolf doesn't have the books I want unfortunately.

design apalanjiao modern pon still a meh bookstore
cheaper price but book availability is terrible

bookxcess and big bad wolf event only gud for finding/discovering some random books that maybe will be interesting read

Of course there are a few exceptions

But by and large Malaysians don't read for entertainment. We spend more time watching TV or crapping political shit on /k or equivalent

BBW typically attracts the same old bookworms and isn't that successful, not for a 10 million pax potential market in KV.
