Looking to change my 18 inch tyres, in need of some recommendations!
I occasionally do spirited driving but wouldn't mind having a little more comfort too
What would you guys recommend between
hankook s1evo3 Vs falken fk510 Vs Goodyear f1 sport Vs mc6?

These are not budget performance tires already. Consider quite middle to premium range.. laugh.gif

Budget range usually is those Indonesian, Thailand, Vietnam or China brand tires.

Go to tyre review and check your tire preference feedback & review for comparison.

These are midrange UHP tyres. The prices are subjective.

I'm currently using 19 inch Falken FK510 & am really happy with it. Superb wet grip & handling. Quite comfortable too

My next set of tyres I would like to try Hankook S1Evo3 due to more competitive pricing. These 2 tyres are considered the flagship model under their own brand category.

The other 2 in your list is just the entry level UHP tyre & did not have the size that I wanted. What about Bridgestone RE004?

What is your budget & size?

The real budget friendly tyre would be Maxxis Victra I-Pro that is also available in 18 inches.

Currently using the 15 inches size on my side car. Quite happy with it as well.

S1E3 and FK510 are more proven globally as they're widely available in many countries and they're both flagship UHP of their brands.

F1S and MC6 are more for specific localized market hence not much international reviews on those. But based on whatever informal hearsay I read, they're also decent.

Between all these, I'd probably try S1E3 first cuz the previous S1E2 had widely came up well in many comparison tests. In fact this S1E3 won the 2021 tire test from Autoexpress UK, even beating some famous notables like PS4. Considering the much cheaper price of S1E3, maybe even cheaper than FK510 and MC6, it should be an excellent value for money.

Thanks, I think I'm going to get the S1E3. The reviews seems pretty convincing, and it's touted to be the replacement for their v12e2. Hopefully it lives up to it hahah

S1E series is actually positioned slightly higher than V12E series and the price is also a bit higher. S1E3 is replacement for S1E2, not directly replacing V12E2. I am still hoping later Hankook will release V12E3.
