choose the vented 1…and find way to settle the exhaust hose.

else u gonna clean the condenser every cycle…else lint accumulated will stuck the water pump

remember this hack if u don't want lint dust fly everywhere especially those with sensitive nose.

the core idea is to trap the remaining lint into water.

LG Dual Inverter Heat Pump dryer.

If you can top up, this is the one to get.

Been using it, super satisfied.

dont want electrolux but considering china/korea brand.
lel good luck.

my personal experience with samseng washer, 1 years plus already spoilt, repair and breaks again after a year.

to me 5 years not that bad, not that great either.
if use nearly everyday, yes 5 years in service is very good.

my only advise with washer and dryer, dont get something with the latest tech like those IoT/smart stuff. get something that is matured, yet having high price tag.

so repair/fix the current electrolux should be good? it is hard to justify with only 1mth warranty.. total damage rm800

have you approach repair shop or not? (not via electrolux service center)?

but yeah rm800 is not justifiable, probably you should look for a new model, maybe from beko or panasonic or just re-consider electrolux back again.

if you take service via service center then many party need to makan la, part price + labor charge by contractor + additional charges made by service center.

if you already know the problem, then just go approach either one of the shop and quote right away.

many of these professional they already know what kind of problem you having just from the phone call alone, now got whatsapp even more easier.
last time my washer got coin stuck, i approach one of the shop via call, he just said leave it be as most of the case it will get unstuck by its own and only contact the shop back if the washer machine stop operating,he said it going to be very expensive procedure just to open the drum and i need some part replacement once the drum was opened.
guess what, the coin just got unstuck and it went to the bottom of the washer after some time.

Beko is big appliances manufacturer in Turkey. Guess selling mostly in European market. Only recently here.

Well, either bug or small name, majority is made in China anyway. Perhaps the big name use more expensive components than than less famous. In general probably it is more on bad luck. sad.gif

My Electrolux washer dryer also faulty once but after 5 years. laugh.gif

Even big name like Electrolux do not employ technician to fix appliances. Normally they get 3rd party or even independent/freelancer to do the fixing. They do rpovide training and the person cover wide region. I know in the North, a person covers Perlis, Kedah, Penang and part of Perak.

When you call service center, they will contact this agent to go investigate and order necessary part. Depends on the person, sometimes, you can just call the person directly for repair. If the person have spare part in hand, he may not even need to report to the service center. Cheaper a bit laugh.gif

The person told me that they have to purchase the part from service center on their own, thus the faulty ones are not returned. He has many faulty board and ask if I can repair them, then it is good. I'm talking here about Electrolux. The young guy is doing that no more. Now different guy and I'm no more using Electrolux washing machine. wink.gif

The first washing machine I used was Bosch and now still working. I gave it to sister in law and it has been more than 20 years I guess.

Hard to say but for control board to fail is 5 years is still short time in my opinion. Well, Lux is not cheaper compare to similar product of other brands. Now, I'm no more using dryer but just washing only. Using Panasonic now and probably almost 10 years without problem. I'm in contract manufacturing for electronics board mostly and now China product selling to the US has to be shifted out of China. This is why Trump has helped Malaysia a lot biggrin.gif

Ohhh, The door has broken latch, but you need to buy the whole door which cost RM200+ (I can't recall). I managed to find a person said to sell 2nd hand part. It turned out that the door looked so new without any sign of even hairline scrath laugh.gif . Cost me RM90 I think and I just fixed it myself.

Paid already during 10.10. But that stupid company in Lazada didn’t send out and lazada cancelled the order.

Planning to look in KV in physical shop this coming weekend for the same model since I managed to find two stores with display model on sale.

They did reply after 3-4 times follow up. But then when actually paid they were procrastinating.

They are agent with no physical shop. That’s why they are kind of slow.

I got for rm2.9k for 9kg

You can buy 8kg for rm2.3k

Every month save rm100 because it uses half electricity of condenser

My first dryer was an Electrolux 8kg heat pump dryer. After 1 year, cloth not dry anymore. They sent technicians to fix 3 times and after replacing the PCB, condenser, switches and so on, still not dry. So replaced it with LG double inverter heat pump 9kg dryer. After 2 years still going strong. Super duper satisfied.
My advice for all are 1.Vented dryer and condenser dryer sucks electricity like there's no tomorrow, so please get heat pump dryer.
2.Dust is the biggest problem for heat pump dryer. Pls use paint-brush and vacuum to clean the dryer filter frequently.
3.If your cloth is not dry after end cycle. Please feel the temperature at the back of the dryer. If the temp is lower than when the machine was new. Time to buy new dryer.
4.Related to no 3, I believe there's no qualified or skilled technician in Malaysia who knows how to repair heat pump dryer.
5.Don't buy any electrolux heat pump dryer. The will send Mr Joker to fix your dryer. rclxub.gif
