Most common is pay more than what actual winnings is when captain not looking.

This kind of fraud cannot last very long because sooner or later the camera will pick up - once you are suspected, they view all the old recordings when the suspected dealer was working and see if there has been any previous occasions where it may have happened before. Unless dealer wants to do a big and run in the super-premium area and then quit the job, defrauding the casino is a no go. Eventually if you do it long enough, you will be caught out.

I have seen in Star City (Sydney) casino where there was a bet of A$8,000 (on Banker in public area) and Banker lost the bet but bet was paid. Both gambler and croupier were PRC. There was no supervisors around when bet was paid. Everyone looking just kept quiet . I have seen a lot of fraud in casinos and my advice is 'you will definitely be caught if you do it long enough'. Uncle boomer here have seen many strange things happen but in casinos, better don't talk too much . If see something suspicious, pretend like never see

From the report, it says roulette. Roulette quite easy to collude with players. Just don’t take the losing bet or overpay a winning bet. Quite easy to pull off especially if you’re in a busy table but can’t cheat the eye in the sky.

Why old one cannot?

No, i mean when they change croupier...but normally those work 2-3 years already very pro....

Blackjack before is unlike today. Today casino only show one card (blackjack) and punters all pull the cards until they are satisfied. Before in the 70s/80s, casino will draw two cards (one face up and the other face down and if open card is Ace, croupier will look at covered card to see if it is a picture. Having croupier see the face-down card is a huge risk for the casino as the croupier can signal to the punters whether the closed card is a picture or not. Casinos get smarter as time progresses so they changed blackjack to how it is now - no more croupier peeking at cards.

In the 70s/80s casinos used less decks of cards and once again, card counters were having an advantage in that they were counting how many 'big cards' were out and slowly casinos progressed using 6 to 8 decks for most of their games.

Yes - in 70s/80s, croupier can give signal to punters whether to buy insurance or not after he has a peek at the bottom card. You cannot surrender with an Ace open card. The casino has no way of stopping croupier from giving signals in those early days so blackjack slowly progressed to the system we have now (with only one card open).

I remembered a lot of underground casinos that offer 1-pack blackjack in the late 70s close shop because punters were counting all the big cards so slowly these casinos progressed to 2 and then 4 decks - nowadays with 6 or 8 deck cards, it is impossible to have an advantage using the counting strategy.
