Hi,

i booked an aircond service, and they seem to have cleaned the filter from dust & stuff, and the foul smell from the unit is gone, so far so good,
but there's still mold inside and i thought this was covered,

Is it normal not to clean the mold in the unit when servicing an aircond ?

I wasn't offered a choice, is there a big difference in price between both ? I paid only 60 RM for this service.
And last time, same price, full clean on the ground. That's why i'm kinda lost.

Thanks, makes sense ! I mean, 60 RM is what i get for a full day work...

I was told 200 RM for a chemical cleaning, i think they bath the whole unit in some chemical bath. I'll start by spraying some vinegar first and use full service next time.

Well, 60 RM for 30-45 minutes work is about triple the median pay of an aerospace engineer in Malaysia

You admit though that the pay is great, even if it's hard to fill your schedule. I believe it's best as a part time work.

What about going freelance, what would be the road blocks, technical education aside ?
