todei was curious to know which app was draining my mobile data
checked and found the culprit was shopee
using my data even more than google/spotify
then i disabled the background data usage and disabled the mobile data usage
wonder what was the app doing bekos i didnt buy anything since 10/10/21

but did you use shopee to get the free coins? probably every time you access the app, it downloads massive files.

furthermore how much data are we talking about. for me it's 460mb this month alone

in the first post when you said you didn't buy anything and shopee still uses data, i'm assuming that you check the daily use?

when data use sort according to day. mine was consistent though. i didn't use shopee today (yet) and it didn't show any data used today for shopee app.

shopee app do have background notifications, that could be the cause of data usage too

Nowadays Rm30 per month can get unlimited data already. No longer care if the app secretly download more data.

settings----wifi+network----data usage

most of the time on wifi
when i'm out rarely use mobile data
but last month i changed my hotlink plan to the 1 year plan and bought 1 year data 10gb, so hoping to control the data usage to last 1 year
yes, cheapskate is me

My highest usage is Brave Browser "Private Mode" of course
Watch too much prawn

But I do agree with TS, Shopee is highest for apps not including Chrome, play store , etc
