Curry Mee + Bihun.

The curry with coconut milk tasted mild spicy & almost like white curry range. Topped with generous with bean curds, fish balls, sliced fish cake, sliced char siew, wantan boiled & fried topping @ only RM 6.00 / bowl. The sambal for the pairing was damn good .

Rating given = 10/10 .



Cintan Wantan

Plain traditional wantan soup at RM 0.40/ wantan in cintan soup served with spring onion. Ordered 10 pieces @ RM 4.00 .

Rating given = 8.5/10 .

Sekinchan Pasar Chu Cheong Fan ( Teluk Intan”s Style)












Selling at Rm 2/ piece , per pack 2 pieces . Sold out by 8:30am to the local . The uncle don’t want to sell more, once finish selling the preparation of the day, will call it a day.

The CCF was homemade ( not source from Teluk Intan), the pairing with the sweet sauce , hot sauce & pickles chilli matched perfectly.

Went to back row of the market for heavy breakfast at Kedai Kopi 168 for the Grouper Fish Head . The location will be crowded by 10am onwards hence I decided to go earlier .











Ordered the following for 2 pax:-

1) 1 steam 1/2 grouper fish head = RM 50
2) 1 lala fried dried chili = RM 15
3) 1 Romanian lettuce stir fry = RM 5
4) 2 herbal drink ( bottle ) = RM 6
5) 1 plate of rice = RM 1

The pork noodles & Loh Mai Yuk (pork), above average but was not able to create the lasting impression like the curry mee & chee cheong fan near the wet market. Only thing I can remember was the kopi ping.

The lala noodle not ready at the time of visit. The pricing wise on the food, I’ll said got multiplier element for external visitors ( almost same price like at KV).

This morning settled with something light at The Family

1) Kopi Peng - ok. Riri Huat tasted better.
2) Kuih Lemper - first time trying, quite nice. Bake glutinous rice with chicken shred filling , wrapped with pandan leave & banana leave - ok
3) Popiah - K.O , don’t order. The popiah skin too thick.
4) Soft bun toasted with butter & kaya - ok
5) Coffee bun toasted with butter & kaya - ok

Pricing …the worker just pressed the calculator & give me the total.

Not crowd , I kinda like it. Other hawker foods option within the shop looked so so only.

Restoran New B , try out the rojak buah. Selling at RM 6.50/ plate.
