Yes there are many models but most will get either the k2v2 or k6, they are both the same but k2v2 has the top F keys similar to the new mbp f keys replacing the Touch Bar…the k6 also has the same function but you need to hold Fn + number, which is not as convenient, and personally I don’t like k6’s look due to thinner and smaller chassis which makes it not like a normal keyboard..also they are both about the same weight (around 660g) not sure why the k6 weigh the same despite smaller..also the k6 doesn’t have home/delete/screenshoot button..

Some also consider the k3 which is the thinnest and smallest but the keys are not quite nice to press, also not durable due to slim chassis and easily break with a light bend with less force..

Also, get the aliminium rgb (not even sure if we have the plastic model) and most people prefer brown switches as they are sitting in between blue (loud clicky keys) and red (silent keys), brown has the best of both world imo…and they are also the most sought after and tend to be the one that always run out of stock compared to the other 2…

Hot swappable is an additional feature which cost like rm50 more, but IMO they are not important unless you are planning to change the switches in the future which cost about rm3each (if you get the same switch which is Gateron for this model), or unless you want to only replace certain keys like wsad for gaming etc..and if you are planning to lube your keys for more tactile feel, but that’s quite technical which you can look up on YouTube..

Battery wise they both are the same at 4000mah that’s long lasting enough to last about 1-2 weeks before a charge is needed (also depends on usage) but generally battery is less of an issue as you can charge it while you use during emergency, which is rare..

keychron was designed for macs but the box also comes with window keys which you can swap out easily, you can choose to use it wired or wireless although most prefer wireless I think..it’s running on Bluetooth 5.1 ..which means it’s not going to drain alot of battery (anything above Bluetooth 4.0 doesn’t have draining battery issue) and also means there won’t be any noticeable latency (I heard the k6 has even shorter latency which was made better for gaming, but without the top row F keys I’m not sure how is the slightly shorter latency going to give better gaming experience)

Lastly the k2v2 cost 339 on retail stores which many shared you can get it slightly cheaper on shopee/lazada..personally I wouldn’t stress about it as the brown keys are almost sold out in all these platforms, another is the authenticity, and I’m not sure if it’s worth the hassle to save these bucks..subjective depending on your budget, some need it, while some doesn’t bother i.e nowadays go out for a meal with family already cost more then the keyboard itself

And remember don’t get the version 1 (not sure if people still sell them in Malaysia), you can differentiate it from the V2 printed on the box, the v1 is flat while the v2 has an inclined base which is obvious from side view, and the v2 has 2 incline feet’s compared to 1 on the v1, also the capslock doesn’t have indication on the v1 and they fixed it on v2 with red light upon activation (the new k6 has all similar upgrades as the k2v2, but they are not k6v2, there are called k6), old k6 has the same specs as k2v1 and if not mistaken they are running on Bluetooth 3.0..

Lastly. If you want it with numpad with similar features, get the k8.

Ive been scouting for nice bags but ended up with a backpack coz I pack my sleeve in it with keyboard and other accessories.. not a backpack person but practicality comes first I guess
