Hi sifus!

I have an annoying problem with my internet speed since i have installed it in my condo.

I am using times fiber 1gbps and i am able to get the speeds that i should get but...

seems like every single time i turn on my pc or restart it, the speeds drop to less than 100mbps.

The only way to get the speed back is to restart the router and unplug/replug the lan cable.
(just restarting the router OR unplug/replug the lan cable wont work)

im not really tech savvy so this has been bugging me for awhile.

Im using a TP-link 2600 router.

hope any sifus here can help

regards,
Diddy

If replug the cable fixed it. I think you might need a new cable.

Wait for others recommendation.

90% cable problem.
Check your link speed. Make sure it's 1000Mbps/1Gbps. If you see 100Mbps then you know the culprit.

By the way, if you need a good LAN Cable, consider UGreen. I tried few cables from Shopee. Cheap not good. Good not cheap.

How do you check the link speed? Do you have to access inside the router?

Im really hoping its something like a setting but it is weird that I have to keep on resetting AND replugging.

I tested something similar but flat version cat7 china version no brand. Definitely cable problem because adapter only detect 100mbps sometimes 1gbps. Required replug cable multiple times.
