Loving every minute of the season premiere. Very interested to see how Adrien Brody and Alexander Skarsgard fits into the back stabbing games of the siblings and Logan's epic eff-off outbursts coming out furious.

Although a bit late, it's a proper origin of Tony Sopranos and you get why and how he is who he is. This is a better send off movie compared to the Breaking Bad one on Netflix. A good chance this will introduce new audiences to the old shows on HBO. Ray Liotta had stellar scenes in the prison and Michael Gandolfini is pretty good as the young Tony. Fans of the original will have a field day seeing the easter eggs and who's who in the movie.

Not my kind of humor. I think James Gunn fans will be pleased. Won't continue after episode 1.

Nah...it's me that not into it. Go ahead and watch it because it might be your cup of coffee. I'm allergic to those MCU/Whedon/Gunn type of humor.

This show took place before Japan implement the strict anti-Yakuza law where they are not to have bank accounts and severely limit their social rights. Overnight Yakuza clans drove back to underground. Now Yakuza no longer had a stranglehold on Jaoanese economy. The show is slowly building the Gaijin reporter who got involved with the detective played by Ken Watanabe and the Yakuza as he navigates the corruption, bureaucracy, politics, culture shock, etc...Not fully hooked yet but will give it few more episodes if they will go to more interesting places.

Tokyo Vice is watchable but you need to invest through the first 4 episodes. Episode 5 where everything comes into full picture.

David Simon, the man who made HBO is back! As Tokyo Vice wrapping, this drops. Will wait for few weeks so can binge it in bulk. Don't let the idiotic anti-SJW Neanderthals crying about the liberal agendas in Hollywood. Good storytelling prevails over culture war hypocrisy.

They might cancel S2 because Jake Adelstein is now facing accusations of distorting facts in his original book. It doesn't look good for HBO to continue unless someone remedied the situation. Spoiler if you don't want to know where they are going with Tozawa in season 2 or what the flash forward scene is about in episode 1.

We Own The City is very well done. It's a condensed version of The Wire formula. It's not a step by step crime procedure. What it is presenting the multiple angles of corresponding parties in confronting the systematic police corruption in Baltimore. Those cops really despicable and abrazen with their way of policing. They are worse than Training Day's Alonzo. Also they are jumping around timelines to give you better context of what is happening. It's refreshing, intriguing and keep you hook. Every episode teases you about how the setting up will go and skip ahead or flashback to clue you in how the events eventually came to be. Along the way they keep escalating the tension. Very effective non-linear storytelling. This is way better than Tokyo Vice.

We Own The City is great. The ending hits you deep. Very best TV I've seen until now for this year. The Boys Season 3 dropping soon.

Just started Season 1, the writing and satire jokes very on point. Now I get it why it was highly praise. Grow up just because they make Harley Quinn queer doesn't mean turning underage girls into lesbian. The storytelling and high quality comedy is what gonna hook you in.

This looks fun! The cast is too good. First time seeing Matthias Schoenaerts in a comedic role.

S4 tonally is closer to S1. At the moment the supernatural aspect seems to be the driver of the killings. It goes without saying Jodie Foster is the reason to watch but surprisingly newcomer Kali Reis is magnetic. I mean she's a woman boxing champion and yet can keep up with Foster in a scene. That's impressive. Be mindful the pace is slow and deliberate.

Another thing to be hopeful is Issa Lopez, the writer and director who made Tigers Are Not Afraid, a pretty good indie horror movie that produced by GDT. Her goal for Season 4 is paying homage to Season 1 in one of the interview she gave.

Don't sit on The Penguin. The first episode is off to a great start. It's a gritty crime drama done right.

In short this is Succession spin on the Broligarchy. Definitely you'll see a Elon Musk stand-in and perhaps Steve Carrell playing a Peter Thiel-ish character. It's a peek at the out of touch tech moguls behavior and fundamentally assholes richer than government who worries about their tiny penis. As the world burns because of their actions, they plot to backstabbing their way so their own feelings are not hurt. Ok watch and wish it has a more satisfying closure.
