My experience with tp-link is very hit and miss.
Some products work flawlessly, but some have an inherent software or hardware issue that makes it a headache.
Latest experience was with RE200 wireless repeater. Avoid it at all costs it always disconnects for no reason.
Last time buy tp-link next day return it cause it overheats loses Internet connection. Yea I think their QC not good. Some products work flawlessly, but some have an inherent software or hardware issue that makes it a headache.

Linksys used to be way cheaper. Although US brand but it was stated by two Taiwanese immigrants.
Once Cisco took over the company, the price became Cisco-like already. Later bought over by Belkin, another US company, but them Belkin is now owned by Foxconn. Looks like Linksys is going back to Taiwan
I am not updated I didn't even know Belkin bought it. What I know frm US forums last time people were saying Cisco buy it to stop its competition during that period most of their firmware bugs not fix even if router is buggy.Once Cisco took over the company, the price became Cisco-like already.
