has anyone work in this company before? I know it's a shared service splitted out from AIG to handle some of their backend operation. They offer me 30% jump from my current pay, but i heard some rumors from around my ex-colleague/circle there are alot of politics involve on the management, and also beware of the management level if you are joining them as they are incompetent in managing strategy and always lose direction. Just wana know if anyone has some "underground" info biggrin.gif

got an ex-colleague that worked there as well (has since resigned); heard adverse things in the politics department as well as broad overwork in the finance department.

AIG sold their stake in AIA many years ago.

AIA Shared Services is part of the AIA Group based in HK, the shared services manage some of the services for all the business units in Asia Pacific aside from Malaysia and China. A large part of claims, technology risk, cloud and other enterprise IT operations is run out of AIA Shared Services.

I didn't like the CIO's direction in general but the new CEO from Ping An seems to be moving the group in the right direction. I had no issues with management overall, the management paid attention to the staff before and during covid. The politics didn't seem so different from other large companies. Workload was decent and the people there are very nice, you do get AIA insurance coverage and a nice extra on your EPF. I liked the old HK office location better than the new one, but the Melbourne office is really nice.

The elevators sucked big time though.

Ohh good to know, which department are you from? The HK office do you mean in HK branch? I am actually asking for Malaysia AIA Shared Service based in Cyberjaya, so not sure if you are aware of it.
