Hi, i found this iPad last year in one of the toilets at klcc. it was locked and it cant connect to wifi just from the lockscreen or go to settings/searchbar whatnot. so i tried finding the owner by posting it at twitter and facebook but couldn't find the owner. so right now is it possible i can somehow unlock it but still save the data inside it? because if possible id still like to return to its owner. if can't then idk should i keep it or send to a shop? appreciate a bunch if someone could help me, thanks in advance

Tried contacting Apple directly? Not reseller, but Apple.

I wish you could find the owner soon, but it’s been over a year so it’ll be tough for anything..i’d say just keep it for self use since it’s too late for anything, or wait for someone to respond to yo on twitter/Facebook. Don’t think Apple could help in anything either, as it involve security.

yeah i hope to find the owner.. but then even if i keep it i still can't use it as its locked. and idk how to unlock it without using password or appleid

You can contact Apple support and give it a shot, tell them the scenario and see what they’d advise..
