Considering the GP6 itself is somewhat like an experiment still, so people just go and install 12L tongue.gif

Direct convert still more expensive than US units, but ofc tax etc etc lah. So any advantages on getting a SG unit? Anyone with prior exp with previous Pixels?

Pixel 6 selling for SGD999 approx RM3100, which is about same as MY resellers price now. Not much incentive to get SG unit unless got no after sales support
*
Plus with taxes service charge markup etc etc, it'll be like what, close to RM3.5k..?

But seeing they provide specific model number hmm.gif but heck, my current Yoodo line hasnt been VolTE-activated, either. Wayyy to go to get my hopes up, squashing it, and get it up again.

I doubt it though since yoodo is still under Celcom and Celcom don't support it
*
Yea I know that's the logic, but I also notice several other phones in their VoLTE list that aren't sold here and technically shouldn't be VoLTE-supported by any telco, either..

Seems like Yoodo updated their VoLTE list, now saying *Japan sets are not supported* for Pixels. What next, only SG sets? Or non-existant Malaysia set? laugh.gif

Or did someone in their team rooted some Pixels then reported it as working..?

HAHA bro i love your comments, fighting ya at Yoodo..

https://support.yoodo.com.my/hc/en-us/commu...LTE-for-Pixel-6

hahahahaha even the Yoodo staff replied there, which is good.. at least clear the confusion la, pity others who keep jumping onto those listed phones for VoLTE function but get none
*
I really don't mind much not having VoLTE actually, if not because of issues in calling/receiving calls without it. And plus, it's advertised too, even in several prominent local tech sites so.. kind of false advertising, if u ask me.

Not only does their announcement cemented my decision to purchase a GP6, so does a few others I know, as well.

Ahh good work, Yoodo. And why cant Google release a SEA firmware for Volte or smth, considering they're being sold at Singapore now? Wishful thinking, I know. But in this, those China phones sure do have an edge.
