I am using TMNet Streamyx (now known as Unifi Lite) in my home.


ADSL Splitter is used for the internet connection.
- One RJ11 at one end for line.
- Two RJ11 at the other end for phone and router.


My ADSL Splitter is faulty, and I need to purchase a new ADSL Splitter to replace it, so that I can surf internet and use house telephone at the same time.


Where can I buy ADSL Splitter? What is the typical price of ADSL Splitter with reasonable quality? I prefer not to buy ADSL Splitter with the cheapest price, due to poor quality.

Any ADSL splitter will do. RM3-RM10. Not much different.

Sure ADSL splitter is faulty?
Sometimes it's the cable copper contact that got oxidize, need cleaning or replaced

Yes, ADSL splitter is faulty. If I directly connect RJ11 cables and bypass ADSL splitter, I can surf the internet and use the telephone.

However, if I reconnect the RJ11 cables to ADSL splitter, I cannot surf the internet and use the telephone.

Thank you for your suggestion to clean the copper contact. I tried it, but ADSL splitter is still faulty. Well, I just have to buy a new ADSL splitter,.

Just buy from any computer accessories shop. Any brand like Dlink or Tp-Link will do.

Plenty on Shopee / Lazada, search ADSL splitter

Any brand will do, just get from seller near you + lots of sales and good feedback.
